Monday 3rd and Tuesday 4th July – local artist Emma Skeet starts her work with us

Local artist Emma Skeet started her work with us today.  She  is delivering 2 workshops for each class and a community sew on Tuesday 18th July.  The children are designing and making two tapestries inspired by the lives and sacrifice of ‘our lads’. These will be made using traditional ‘lap craft’ techniques which were used by wounded men as they convalesced from their injuries.  She worked with Dolphin and Finchley classes from Year 3 and Nelson class from Year 4. She returns on Tuesday to work with Armes, Turner and Heigham class.
