I spent the morning working with Y4 children finishing the research into ‘our lads’. The children used the little information they had from the Roll of Honour to search the CWGC website before saving the certificates for our very own ‘Folder of the Fallen’. A select group of Y5’s will be working with Neil Storey tomorrow to use another online database to find missing biographical details so that the website database can be completed. I spent an hour organising the certificates into 5 year groups and printing off the paperwork they will need to complete this important historical work.
