Historian Neil Storey was back again today to talk to Year 4 children about life in Heigham 100 years ago. They discussed a number of events of huge local significance – such as the floods of 1912 – so that they can introduce specific and historically accurate information into their local history projects.

Using the research carried out by Y4 as a starting point they identified gaps in the lads biographical information (family details, where they lived) and used the ancestry website cross referenced with an online roll of honour database … Read more
