Over the summer, artist Emma Skeet completed work on the two tapestries that were made with the children and their families at the end of the summer term. Y4 complete the task of entering the details they have researched on ‘our lads’ on to the website database. It has been a massive undertaking, but they’ve done it!
Emma Skeet returns for a final series of workshops on Tuesday. Parents and family members joined us to complete the work. There was a wonderful atmosphere as parents and grandparents worked alongside the children. The completed tapestries will be on show in the autumn when the project is officially launched.
