Today we had a visit from Sgt Storey. He helped us to learn how World War 1 started, and told us all about life as a Tommy. Not only did we get to find out what it was like to be a WW1 soldier, but we also got to try on some real kit and feel the weight of a genuine rifle from 1914!
We learnt loads, and couldn’t believe how quickly the time went! We really look forward to Sgt Storey coming back to tell us more about the war later in the term.
